The children start each session by planning where they will play. They have lots of choice from three rope swings, hammock, digging area, mud kitchen, potion station, forest phone, dens and trees to climb.
We have a fantastic long EYFS Forest School with lots of nooks and turns and wonder around each corner. The children love to bug hunt and Autumn is perfect with the cooler months and a bonus when we have had rain.
Midway through our session we stop for a snack and to do recall. They children talk about where they have been and where they will go next. We often have a craft although this is weather dependent due to wind and rain. When the weather is against us, we just carry on and play!
